Mr Dimitrios Kapantais is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon with specialist expertise in eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery. Since 2021, he has held a substantive Consultant Oculoplastics Surgeon position at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Greater Manchester, where he plays an active role in training Ophthalmology residents and Oculoplastics Fellows. He also serves as an Honorary Lecturer in Medical Education at the University of Manchester.

After graduating from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Mr Kapantais completed his Ophthalmic Surgical Training at leading ophthalmic centres in Greece, including the 1st Department of Ophthalmology at Aristotle University. He subsequently undertook advanced subspecialty training in the United Kingdom, completing three prestigious Oculoplastic Fellowships at King's College Hospital London, Royal Berkshire Hospital Reading and Bristol Eye Hospital.

His extensive training has provided specialist expertise in ophthalmic plastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery, allowing him to offer both functional and cosmetic treatments tailored to each patient's individual needs.
