Advanced Injection Treatments
for Shoulder & Elbow Pain
Non-surgical, ultrasound-guided injections to reduce pain, improve function and support recovery in selected shoulder and elbow conditions
Not all patients are suitable for injection treatments. Suitability is determined following specialist assessment and, where appropriate, imaging.
PRP (Endoret®) Injections – Elbow Tendinopathy
-
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections may be considered for selected patients with persistent elbow tendinopathies, such as tennis elbow or golfer’s elbow, where symptoms have not improved with standard conservative treatment.
-
At Genesis Clinic, we use Endoret® PRP, a refined plasma-based therapy prepared from the patient’s own blood, designed to deliver a controlled concentration of growth factors under ultrasound guidance following specialist assessment.

Targeted Shoulder Injections
Ultrasound-guided injections may be offered for selected shoulder conditions, including:
-
Subacromial and AC joint pain
-
Biceps tendinopathy
-
Suprascapular nerve blocks for chronic shoulder pain
-
Hydrodilatation for frozen shoulder
Treatments are tailored following clinical assessment and imaging, where appropriate.
Hydrodilatation for Frozen Shoulder
-
Hydrodilatation is an ultrasound-guided injection treatment used in selected patients with frozen shoulder to help reduce pain and improve movement by gently stretching the joint capsule.
-
This treatment may be offered following clinical assessment and imaging, where appropriate.
