Treatments We Offer

Skin Lesion Excision

For benign or suspicious skin lesions that require complete removal, we offer precise surgical excision with careful closure planning to achieve the best possible healing outcome.

Lipoma Removal

Lipomas are common fatty lumps beneath the skin. If a lipoma is uncomfortable, enlarging, visible or bothersome, we can assess and remove it surgically.

Skin Biopsy Services

If a lesion needs diagnosis before definitive treatment,
we offer:
•    Shave biopsy          •    Skin biopsy
Biopsy can help clarify the diagnosis and guide next steps.

Foreign Body Removal

For retained material or deeper embedded foreign bodies in the skin or subcutaneous tissue, we offer assessment and surgical removal where indicated.

Hyperhidrosis Treatment

For excessive sweating, we offer botulinum toxin treatment for hyperhidrosis in suitable patients following consultation.

Scar Revision

Where appropriate, scar revision may improve the appearance, contour or symptoms of a scar.

Benign Lesion Removal

We remove a wide range of benign skin lesions where treatment is recommended for symptoms, irritation, recurrent trauma, diagnosis or cosmetic reasons.

Curettage / Cryotherapy

Some superficial skin lesions can be treated effectively with curettage and/or cryotherapy, depending on the diagnosis and the area being treated.

Secondary Suture / Wound Review

For selected cases, we provide secondary suture of skin and wound management where clinically appropriate.

Abscess Drainage

Painful skin abscesses may require drainage.
We offer treatment for:
•    Small abscess drainage
•    Large abscess drainage / subcutaneous abscess or haematoma drainage

Keloid Scar Treatment

Keloid scars can be symptomatic, raised and cosmetically distressing. We offer therapeutic injection treatment as part of a tailored scar management plan.

What Happens at Your Appointment

1

Consultation & Assessment

We begin with a detailed assessment of your skin concern, including your symptoms, how long it has been present, whether it has changed over time and whether treatment is medically advisable.

3

Procedure

Many treatments can be carried out under local anaesthetic. We will explain what the procedure involves, expected downtime, healing times and aftercare.

2

Diagnosis & Treatment Plan

We explain our findings and recommend the most suitable next step. This may include monitoring, biopsy, lesion removal, drainage, scar treatment or referral for further investigation where necessary.

4

Follow-Up & Results

Where tissue is sent for analysis, we will discuss how and when you will receive your results and whether any further treatment is needed.
