Dr Stratos Sofos is a highly experienced Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, appointed as a substantive NHS Consultant in 2020. He has trained extensively across leading UK centres and is recognised for his meticulous surgical technique, sound clinical judgement, and compassionate, patient-focused care.

His specialist expertise lies in skin cancer reconstruction, complex head and neck surgery, facial palsy, and microsurgical reconstruction, managing both routine and highly complex cases. Dr Sofos is known for achieving results that prioritise function, balance, and natural appearance.

Training & Qualifications
Dr Sofos holds the prestigious FRCS (Plast) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He completed advanced fellowships in Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Palsy at the internationally renowned St Andrew’s Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery, as well as a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship with the North West Deanery.
He also holds a BSc in Biosciences from the University of Swansea and a BA in Classical History from the University of California, Davis, where he was awarded the Grimm–Evans Scholarship.
Dr Sofos has published widely in peer-reviewed medical journals and remains actively involved in surgical research and innovation.
